Between 1998 and 2007 Amir Shraga was an associate and thereafter a partner in the litigation department of the leading law firm Danziger, Klagsbald & Co.. During his practice, Amir Shraga represented companies and individuals in complex legal proceedings and corporate power struggles, including at Club Hotel, Tempo, the real estate company Peretz Bonei HaNegev, motor car importer Kamor, in actions under the Securities Law in respect of hostile takeovers and partner disputes.
Amir Shraga represented clients in complex cross-border legal actions, including a lawsuit of Motorola Inc. against parties in Turkey, a lawsuit of the public company Malam Systems against Emblaze, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, and a lawsuit of the Mercedes importer to Israel. Amir Shraga has also represented key persons in the business community in Israel and overseas, including Mr. Sheldon G. Adelson and Prof. Shlomo Ben Haim.
Amir Shraga has handled a broad range of complex class actions and derivative actions for his clients.
In 2008 Amir Shraga founded, together with Dr. Klagsbald, the law firm of Dr. A. Klagsbald & Co. Mr. Shraga continues to frequently represent leading corporations and businessmen, including Prof. Shlomo Ben Haim in a dispute over holdings in high-tech companies, minority shareholders in respect of their holdings in Siemens Israel, Israel Hayom daily newspaper in connection with persons seeking to restrict it, Mr. Tom Kaplan in a dispute with PCIC and Mr. Guma Aguiar, Habas Investments in a dispute with Mr. Igal Ahouvi, foreign clients in connection with the “Trojan Horse” affair, DSP Group in a dispute with VCs, and others.
Brief resumé: Mr. Shraga is a graduate of Tel Aviv University (LL.B., LL.M., magna cum laude). He tutored courses on tort law and jurisprudence at Tel Aviv University and the College of Management. Amir Shraga clerked for the Hon. Justice Eliezer Goldberg (Ret.) at the Supreme Court of Israel.
